Author Bios


Lisa Braver Moss has written for The Huffington Post, Tikkun, Parents, and other publications. She is the author of The Measure of His Grief, a novel exploring the ethical dilemmas inherent in Jewish circumcision. Her other books include Celebrating Family: Our Lifelong Bonds with Parents and Siblings and, as co-author, The Mother’s Companion: A Comforting Guide to the Early Years of Motherhood.


Rebecca Wald is publisher of Beyond the Bris, a news and views website about the Jewish movement to question circumcision. The project has been written about in The New York Times, The Huffington Post, Village Voice, Tikkun, The Jewish Daily Forward, Haaretz, and The Times of Israel, among others. Rebecca is a graduate of The Brooklyn Law School. Celebrating Brit Shalom will be her first book.
